Efren Alvarez Jr. is a proud U.S. Marine veteran and Water System Supervisor at the Arvin Community Services District in Arvin, California. With D3 Water Distribution and T2 Treatment Operator certifications, plus backflow prevention expertise, he leads water system operations, maintenance, and compliance to provide reliable service to his hometown community.

He advanced from entry-level maintenance roles to his current supervisory position, bringing technical skill, reliability, and leadership to the water industry. He studied at Taft College and keeps up with advancements like AMI/AMR technology.

Efren also serves Arvin as Equipment Manager for Arvin Little League, supporting local youth sports.

A lifelong Arvin resident, he is committed to public service, community involvement, and the values of duty and excellence from his Marine Corps experience.
